Crockwell Farm Wedding Photography

This was an amazing wedding, not least because it was a referral from a previous wedding client. It’s always fun shooting wedding photography referrals. And especially this referral, because I had such an amazing time with my original couple. Upon seeing what I created for his sister, link here. Charlie had decided to book me for his and Emma’s big day in June this year. The couple had decided to get married at the amazing Crockwell farm. And I love visiting there and supplying Crockwell Farm wedding photography, as well as outdoor wedding photography.

If you don’t know it, it’s a farm with lots of outside space, and we were able to get outside for the wedding ceremony and the majority of the wedding day.

As the weather was absolutely amazing. Emma walked down the aisle with her father, as Charlie stood nervously waiting and after the ceremony, the two took a couple of minutes alone before walking through a confetti tunnel. It was then straight into drinks reception, which is part of the day I really enjoy at the minute capturing all those emotions and reactions from people I managed to steal a couple here and there for a couple of cheeky portraits.

Charlie got picked by the groomsmen, and then dropped like a stone. It’s crazy some of the things I see at weddings.

Then it was time for the sit-down meal and a couple had planned a surprise for their guests. Singing waiters. Yes, they do exactly what they say on the tin. They are waiters that serve the food and then start singing. Surprising the guests with a 30-minute set of popular songs this really set the party tone for the wedding, especially as prior to the singing waiters, there’d been some unforgettable speeches delivered by the top table.

After this, we jumped in my car. And we were told if we run up a hill with the car, we can get to a poppy field. None of us really knew what the poppy field was going to look like. But we weren’t disappointed when we arrived at the top. The jumped out massive field of puppies The sun was blazing down and we got some gorgeous views of the county from the top so it was well worth putting the car in first gear for the entire ascent.

Then it was more drinks receptions, the evening guests began to join us and mingle and then into the first dance. This was a lovely wedding. Not least like I said, because it was a wedding referral from a previous client. Wedding recommendations and wedding referrals are really important to me. As I already arrived at a wedding with connections built with the guests, but don’t take my word for it. Here’s what the couple themselves had to say.

So sorry it’s taken me 3 days to reply!! We have been none stop as you can imagine! We are finally in Croatia relaxing where I’m catching up and taking a breath! We love the Crockwell Farm wedding photography!

Oh my god, that’s all we can say Chris, we knew you were going to be incredible but you out done what we could ever imagine you creating for us on our wedding day! You made us feel so relaxed and comfortable and all our guests said how incredible you were, I think my dad wants to book you for his wedding day!! But we will get on to that when they pick a date haha!!

The 12 pictures you have sent over are absolutely perfect, I looked at them over and over for about 3 hours on the Sunday they are BEAUTIFUL! We are so glad we booked you and now we can look back at our day for the rest of our lives and remember how incredible it was! So looking forward to the rest of the pictures!
