The Ashes Barns Wedding Photography – Tom & Trish

So, your obviously here to tale about The Ashes Barns Wedding Photography, and Tom & Trish had some of the best Barn wedding photography I’ve ever produced! I love creating Countryside wedding Photography, and there’s something rustic and Special about The Ashes Barns, its one of my fav places AND I`m a recommended supplier there too, so I know the venue well.

Tom And Trish had met me at the National Wedding show, and unfortunately had their original date postponed due to that little worldwide event called “The Corona Virus” – You may have heard of it?

So, we moved the date and when the lovely couple’s big day arrived, they partied in style!

One of the cool things about The Ashes is that there are two separates but equally cool locations for the couple to get ready apart from each other, and they are roughly 30 metres apart, so a photographers dream for shooting some exciting bridal prep.

Trish`s brother gave her away in the traditional Scottish attire, as unfortunately Trish`s parents were unable to attend, and the ceremony was really emotional. Tom towered over Trish in height, but their connection was obvious to everybody. They are just utterly in love with each other.

The couple had included a wedding pre shoot with me, so we were able to work out how to negate the height difference in an elegant way ( it was quite the height difference ), and after some awesome confetti moments ( I do love confetti ) we enjoyed a chilled drinks reception, and then grabbed some fantastic portraits of the too.

We did plan on using a smoke bomb in the photos, but the thing literally blew up, nearly setting the field on fire – so let that be a warning to you! They do look cool in photos, BUT you have to be very careful with them. We were just lucky that nothing bad happened! That`s the thing with countryside wedding photography, you do have to be careful of your environment.

The Ashes Barns was made for Wedding Photography, its always a pleasure working around it as you always find new areas and opportunities!

We rounded the night out with a rock disco, as the couple had met at Rock City in Nottingham years ago, so all in all it was definitely my kind of wedding!
