Sandon Hall Wedding Photography – Arunas & Sophie
I met Sophie at the Birmingham national wedding show a place where I meet most of my couples as they go there to find the very best wedding photography. Sophie has been impressed by my relaxed candid and documentary approach to wedding photography and as she was having an August wedding photography wanted the imagery to feel relaxed and fun. The wedding venue was a lovely beautiful place called Sandon Hall wedding photography is something that I specialise in as its barely 45 minutes down the road from my home.
Her groom Arunas was fun. He was crazy as a box of frogs fun he really wanted to enjoy his wedding day and the laughs just did not stop coming for these lovely couple. We were blessed with the most beautiful weather and I was able to use Sandon Halls grounds to great effect creating some memorable and creative wedding imagery for to for the pair. Family and friends is very important to the couple and so during the drinks reception I really tried hard to capture everybody interacting, if they were loving laughing drinking hugging crying I made sure that I was there to photograph them.
In my opinion this is the right wedding photography approach I want an environment where my couples and their family and friends feel very relaxed and just be themselves and allow me to capture them and create beautiful memories for the couple.
The ceremony was held in the orangery and the light was just beautiful for the ceremony I still can’t get over how amazing Sophie looked as she walked down the aisle with her pride with a proud father, and the look on Aruna’s face when he saw it for the first time. Of special note with this ceremony the groom actually dropped the rings, yes you read that right he actually dropped Sophie’s wedding ring on the floor during the ceremony just before he put it on her finger.
The speeches were frankly hilarious, blunt, a little crude but it worked. And very memorable!
Sandon hall is a great venue to get married at as it features some fantastic grounds beautiful big windows and a fantastic staircase which just lends itself to the most epic of wedding photography and brings out the best of any August wedding photography.
I was particularly pleased with my use of reflections colour and blocking during this wedding as I really worked hard to draw the viewer’s eye to the couple and the things that I felt were the most important on the wedding day. From the group rep to the bridal prep through the whole day i really focused on creating interesting and beautiful imagery that focused on peoples expressions colour and shapes.
This August wedding photography at Sandon hall was an amazing experience I just know Sophie and Arunas are going to love their wedding gallery.
