Vicky & Sian – Hoe Down Fun!
Vicky and Sian had there quite frankly amazing day at Wainhouse barn at Dewsall Court, Hereford, and the weather was pretty well behaved – in this country that’s saying something! They got married on the seventh August 2019, on a Weds, and it was a REAL party atmosphere as soon as I turned up!
Sian’s bridal prep was very chilled as she relaxed with her bridesmaid and her mum – and not forgetting the star of the show, the couple’s adorable little boy Bobby Moon! It was quite a different story next door with Vicky’s crew! As soon as I walked in, bridesmaids grabbed dirty pants and started thrusting them into one bridesmaid’s face, and general banter and silliness erupted… it was good fun!
The couple had their ceremony outside, and the weather JUST ABOUT held out for the couple, and certainly was on its best behaviour for the drinks reception, and HOE DOWN! That’s right, I said a hoe down, essentially country music in a field, with a country singer and dancing!
I’m really pleased with the couple’s portraits I captured, there’s a real deep tenderness between the couple that I wanted to bring out in the photography, as well as the connection that they all share as a family.
There’s some lovely expressions on Vicky’s fathers face when he sees his daughter for the first time too that I’m super happy with too. Man, he was choked up!
I’m in the process of designing this book at the minute, so wanted to share it as a blog piece. Hope you enjoyed it.
