The Granary at Fawsley Wedding Photography – Jason & Louise
Louise and Jason`s wedding at the Granary in Fawsly was brilliant, I really loved The Granary at Fawsley wedding photography. All of my clients are just lovely, but in the run up to the wedding Louise and Jason had really established a strong connection with me by really taking the time to reach out so that I understand exactly what they’re looking for from their Autumn wedding photography, and what they’re looking for in regards to the general feel and tone of their beautiful wedding day.
The Granary at Fawsly is a beautiful wedding venue just outside Leicestershire on the Northampton border. It really is a fantastic building with lots of scope for photography.
The bride Louise got ready in the little stable area in some beautiful rooms where I shot a really lovely first look photo set with Louise’s father, who just broke down into floods of tears. I honestly felt quite bad photographing it because he was so emotional. But it made for such beautiful photography that I know Louise will treasure forever.
The ceremony was held outside on the Granary`s front lawn and it was just lovely, Louise walked down the aisle with her father. Big smiles, with lots of love in the air. And everybody just seemed to really be going on with it.
The confetti with this wedding was just out of this world they had so much and they really wanted to have fun with it. Everything about this wedding was about having fun, but the confetti was something where people could really go overboard with and they really did go overboard in the best way possible.
A big concern for the couple with the Autumn wedding photography was Jason’s two girls who were bridesmaids. And we didn’t really need to worry because those girls took to the photography like ducks to water and loved having their photo taken. They loved being with Jason and Louise, and the whole thing just felt incredibly natural and easy for me as a photographer to document with complete authenticity.
What was important to Louise was a little fireman emblem that her father had given to her mother before her mother sadly passed away. This is something Louise had on the wedding day as it was incredibly important to her mother. So she had a piece of her mum with her on the wedding day.
We found some really unique and beautiful ways to include that into the wedding photography. And I’m really proud of how we managed to put that in without it being so obvious.
Later on in the evening as just began to set I managed to get the couple away for about 20 minutes and we just took some really beautiful photos of them just being themselves in the fields around the granary. And as the sun began to set, got some really beautiful photos of them with the sun behind them. This wedding for me I will always remember because it was all about joining the dots between the guests, the family members, the new family members, the old family members, it was just about a bit of everything and I really, really enjoyed that.
