On a Wedding day couples want to enjoy themselves mingle with friends and family and just enjoy the fact that they just got married to the one special person they love cherish and probably annoys them the most for the rest of their lives. What I don’t think they want to be worried about is their wedding photos, as I find most wedding photos do look quite traditional old fashioned and sterile. I prefer wedding photos that are fun colourful and natural taken in a documentary wedding photography style with an emphasis placed upon the couple their interests their personalities and their wedding photo needs.
My style of photography is just that it’s fun it’s brash it’s colourful it’s based on creative wedding photography ideas that my couples absolutely love I pride myself on trying to be the best wedding photographer I can be and the best way I’ve found to do that is to be able to understand my couples. My work tends not to suit couples that are traditional or looking for something there is old fashioned or sterile, in fact my style of wedding photos works better with couples that just embrace the chaos embrace the fun and embrace the laughter that comes with a wedding day. Documentary and candid wedding photography is the order of the day for me the exception to that will be the creative couple portraits that I always take for my couples. Trust me these are not the old fashioned traditional and boring wedding photos that you may be used to seeing not for me my wedding photography is natural fun and vibrant full of colour movement and mood.
I think it’s so easy now for couples to look and research wedding photographers online and the advice I’d give all my couples is simply this asked to see a full wedding gallery asked to see testimonials check out that Google reviews online ask around for recommendations and referrals from friends or family or even coworkers who have booked people honestly if people an practitioners particularly wedding photographers are out there doing a good job it will be very easy to find them.
But equally the best way to find out if someone is right for you he’s just look at the work. If you’re looking at someone’s wedding photography and you’re feeling a connection or you’re feeling excited or you feel that this person understands you and you can see yourself in front of their lens and see yourself working with them to interpret your wedding day hit the connect button reach out to them people.
