Wedding Photography Wales – Yasmin & James

I know I always say this and at the risk of sounding like quite a bore I was genuinely excited to shoot this wedding, and create some awesome Wedding Photography in Wales. Like most of my couples I’d met Yasmin and her bridal tribe at the Birmingham NEC national wedding show as this is a great way to get to meet people and we instantly clicked as to be frank with both quite mad and the fact that she was getting married in Anglesey sealed the deal for me. Speaking to Yasmin she said to me on the day and I quote there’s no way you’re going to be shooting my wedding all the way in Anglesey. Little did she know though that my parents, who are also Welsh, actually live in Anglesey.

So it was a match made in heaven I arrived on the morning and it was just instant chaos, but the kind of chaos that I love providing me with unique and interesting photography opportunities. My photography works best when there is no barriers with my clients and Yasmin had no boundaries she was an open book and an absolute delight to be able to document her wedding day.

The wedding venue is called Tyfry manor and was a delight to shoot at.

It was over to the church for the wedding ceremony in a small Chapel one that I’ve actually driven past so many times on my way to visit my parents the sun was beaming down despite it being a late September wedding and the couple were very lucky as we were able to enjoy the marquee that they’d erected in the grounds of the stately home that they’d booked for their wedding reception.

DIY weddings are fantastic fun and it suited this couple down to the ground that they were able to do it their way we have bespoke dining experiences lots of alcohol and lots of fun I was able to send my drone up and create some really special and unique photography and as the sunset over the venue we were able to grab some fantastic dusk portraits of the couple before returning them to the reception in time for a very emotional first dance and then a father daughter dance.

I really loved this opportunity to create this Wedding Photography in Wales as its a country very dear to me given my parents history.

This really was just one of my favourite weddings ( take a look at my gallery here ) I think of all time simply because it delivered everything I wanted it to and because I know that James and Yasmin literally had the best day.
