Timeless Wedding Photography – The Power of memories.

Timeless wedding photography is just that. Timeless and precious. I always get asked about how to approach the family wedding photography part of the day, so it isn’t stiff, and we can create some beautiful wedding photos. I reached out to my past couples for their favourite stories around the images and so I’m just sharing a few of them below.

My advice – don’t skip the family photos. You`ll never know when you need a memory.

“Thanks again for everything, we love the timeless wedding photography – I don’t know if Jen mentioned we lost Grandad / Dad after the wedding and still it’s all a little too raw for me and Nan – 64 years together- she has lost her right hand man!

I have not looked at the wedding photographs without breaking down – but this has been a beautiful experience as it has opened my heart again and helped me relive the happy memories of the day with him side by my side.

I hope you don’t mind me sending you a photo but we loved this picture you took of us all so much that we buried Grandad holding it and it also stands on his grave. Your photography keeping us all together forever – so from the bottom of my heart thank you!

“As you know we were extremely fortunate to have you as our photographer on the day of our wedding.

Gemma’s best friend was there, not your typical best friend that you expect, but her confidant and her PRO-secco (what she called it) drinking buddy and witness to our marriage.

The lady that gem homed in on at every event. Her anxiety blanket if you will…in times of social occasions you do not really want to be part of. Awkward dinners and just the best times and warmest of company. Her nanny.

Sadly we lost Hilda a few years ago just after her 90th Birthday and We cherish those photos of her on our wedding day, and use them often on status’s and special occasions that crop up…and there’s a photo in particular where she is touching gems face and gem even says “I remember when I told her to be careful of my hair and makeup” but she didn’t care, she was over joyed just to be part of our day. To be included.

Thank you. You have managed to capture the photos that we will hold so close to our hearts for eternity.

The photos really capture her character and cheekiness and just pure love of her.

Thanks as always.

“Not sure if you remember, but I lost my best man / best friend 5 days before our wedding. He lost his battle with cancer. His partner still chose to attend our wedding, despite her loss, and you captured the moment I asked her for a dance.

The emotion captured within this image is unreal… pure happiness that it was my wedding, and sheer devastation that Matt was not there, and that he should have been dancing with her, not me.

Just looking at this image brings back the emotions… just how impactful it was; the pure raw emotions.

Thank you for capturing this moment!

Sorab & Rupel”
