The Woodlands Wedding Photography – Laura & Keith

Laura and Keith had booked me for their woodlands wedding photography ( Leicester wedding photography ) after hearing about me from some friends wedding that I shot. Being based in Leicester and working as a Midlands wedding photographer it was nice to be able to work in my own home county. It’s nice being a Leicestershire wedding photographer as they reach some lovely venues like The Woodlands for me to go out and have fun with. And Keith and Laura certainly were fun. For that Woodlands wedding photos they wanted something brash colourful and full of emotion and we had an absolute scorcher of a day that suited the woodland themes beautifully.

One of the values of The Woodlands as a venue is the amount of accommodation that you can get ready in and that’s what Laura did getting ready with her daughter and I was able to capture some truly intimate moments between the two of them. This was particularly rewarding for me given that Laura’s daughter could have been your typical awkward teenager, but she wasn’t and she was so excited that her mum was getting married.

After finishing with law in the morning I headed over to The Woodlands to meet up with Keith and the boys and as we waited in the shady wooded area the beauty of The Woodlands as a wedding venue in Leicester really became apparent. You’re deep in the woods surrounded by nature everything feels so natural and the only sound you can hear is the sound of the birds and of the small stream next to the wedding venue trickling away.

came down the aisle given away by her son and that was a really beautiful experience I’m a massive fan of including family members in photography but not necessarily them just being there for the sake of it for them actually having roles and jobs to perform on the day as it allows me to capture their more natural reactions.

The drinks reception was buzzing the kids were jumping around on space offers and we just completed a really funny confetti photo so everybody was in high spirits, mixing in the alcohol with the weather it was an absolutely perfect recipe.

I still found time to steal Lauren keep away for their Woodlands wedding photos and this was just for their couples portraits something just for the two of them and the light couldn’t have been more perfect. Lester wedding photography is very rewarding when everything comes together like it did for Laura and Keiths day. I do feel very blessed that I was chosen to be there Leicester wedding photographer.
