The Ashes Barn wedding photography
Jessica and Dan held their amazing countryside wedding at the Ashes barn. I’m a preferred supplier for that group ( so I know all about the The Ashes Barn wedding photography), which includes venues such as the Mill Barns and Pendrell Hall, so it’s pretty easy for me to jump over and supply some Stoke On Trent wedding photography. And the couple had seen me on the Ashes preferred suppliers list, loved my work and got in touch to enquire about me shooting their wedding in my relaxed countryside wedding photography vibes.
The ashes is amazing for shooting or even attending a wedding. And this wedding was no exception, as it was fun right from the start. It’s exactly the kind of thing that I look for in a wedding.
There was so many cheeky laughs and lots of banter. Everyone just generally having a good time.
These are the things that really get me excited about photography, as well as lots of opportunity to create interesting looking portraits and to tell the couple’s story in an authentic way.
The ceremony was emotional, Dan had said that he`d break down, and he definitely did! Jess was overcome, Dan was in tears, it was photography gold!
The couple’s lovely dog joined them on the day and upon arrival at the ashes decided to jump straight into the little lake that’s there. After drying her off, she was included in a few portraits but was swiftly led off by a not very happy dog walker!
This wedding hit me in all the right places as it was relaxed. It was fun. It wasn’t formal in the least, and I really enjoyed it and the families on both sides really got into the spirit of things as well. I really do love providing The Ashes Barn wedding photography.
I’m particularly happy with all of the portraits that I created with the couple. Some are a little softer and a little bit more subtle. Some are really brash and full of energy. It’s always nice to be able to work with couples and changing the tone of the portraits is something that’s very important to me as a photographer, particularly at the Ashes as we are treated to some really beautiful gardens, a little mini lake, and lots and lots of rolling countryside and a beautiful countryside winding road.
It’s just got everything you want really. This kind of wedding was perfect for this couple and both families were everything I like about weddings.
It was lovely, lovely time and I thoroughly enjoyed shooting their day
