Royle Forest Wedding Photography – Chloe & Jon
Chloe had found me at the national wedding show, for her Royle Forest Wedding Photography. Chloes wedding was in September Wedding Photography, in the Woodlands wedding photography, and so I was really interested in this.
To be honest, this was a pretty big show for me, as it was the first time, post pandemic, that I’ve actually been able to exhibit my work and show my portfolios, so to say I was a little nervous, going into this show is an understatement.
However, upon meeting Chloe and her crew all my fears were put aside. Chloe approached the stand with a massive smile. Clearly something she’d seen that attracted her to my work. After talking to her and both of the mums for a little bit, it was obvious that my relaxed, candid and creative style of photography was exactly what Chloe was looking for.
And Chloe had chosen the most amazing wedding venue. Royal forest weddings are relatively new into the market of wedding venues in the UK, though I’m sure that in years to come Royal forest weddings will be one of the premier venues to get married.
In the run up to the wedding, I chatted to Chloe and Jon, her partner, quite a bit. So I had a decent idea about what it is they were looking for. And we’d also agreed in the run up to the wedding, that they wanted to do a pre wedding shoot with me as most of my couples do. And this is something that I always recommend to couples. I cannot stress enough how great these are in the run up to the wedding as well.
I’d actually spent some time talking to the Team at Royal forest weddings and I was actually bowled over by how amazing they were and how interested they were in how I work and what the clients were looking to get out of the day. Clearly their enthusiasm matched how amazing their venue was.
The wedding day went without a hitch, it was a brilliant. A special moment for me was Chloe being given away by her father on her dad’s Harley Davidson. Jon didn’t know anything about it until he stood at the top of the aisle and he starts hearing the Vram VRAM VRAM of the engine and I think he quickly understood what was going on. Huge shout out the brass band that gave us some high energy performances during the day.
Royale forest weddings is fantastic, it’s an amazing tipi wedding venue, and I do enjoy tipi weddings.
They’re great for speeches, they’re great for firepits, they’re just great for that festival, boho vibe that a lot of my couples find themselves looking for in their wedding photography. As this was a September wedding, we’re able to do some really cool night photography with the couple in the forests and woods surrounding the tipis and I look back on this wedding with just complete love.
I’ve really enjoyed every element of is wedding. The couple themselves were gracious. The families on both sides were just lovely to work with. And the staff at royal weddings, really went that extra mile to make sure that I was well looked after. If you are looking for a festival themed wedding, particularly with a tepee, I would honestly say do look at Royle Forest Wedding Photography. You won’t be disappointed.
