Gorcott Hall Wedding Photography – Dionne & Steven

Gorcott Hall Gorcott Hall

Dionne and Steve had booked me Gorcott hall wedding photography, after seeing me at the Birmingham NEC wedding show. This is a great opportunity for me to meet couples from the Midlands and it’s very useful as both the east and West Midlands have lots of different venues and opportunities for great photography. West midlands wedding photography Was what the couple were specifically looking for from me and they had chosen the lovely wedding venue of gorcott hall for their amazing October wedding. Unfortunately the weather decided not to play ball and so the wedding had an element of Wet wedding photography to it.

The venue is perfect for any weather but particularly for wet weather photography as there’s so much space and beautiful unique places where we can capture beautiful wedding photography.

The bridal suite in particular has been very well put together as it gives the bride and party lots of opportunities for space and to get ready together. There are some fantastic mirrors, open spaces, and generally a very bright and party like atmosphere in the bridal suite honestly this is one of the best spaces I’ve seen from a venue in a long time.

Steve was getting ready just over the road and he walked over with his groomsmen and I could tell it was going to be an emotional day because the already people were crying the couple had two lovely children both of which were playing important roles in the ceremony and it seemed that the tears and emotional aspect of the ceremony matched the wet and wild weather outside. Both seemed very raw and unstoppable, particularly after the ceremony the couples lad was really struggling to control his emotions in the best way.

We did get a slight break in the weather and I was made able to disappear with a couple of his own quick portraits dodging the rain and trying to get the best out of Gorcott hall alongside the weather.

We did manage to sneak out with the couple during the evening reception for some night time portraits and the rain was very heavy truly they were absolute superstars for wanting to brave it on their wedding day and get outside. The party started with the bride throwing the bouquet and I’m not sure if she did it on purpose but it certainly seemed to me that it was directed towards one female in particular who received the bouquet to instant cheers enjoy. Maybe that’s a couple that I’ll be seeing in the next couple of years maybe?
