Why wedding photography is important

Wedding photography tips

OK so I’m going to jump on here real quick to give you some wedding photography tips as I’m guessing that’s what you’re here for or you’re probably here for wedding photography advice. The best bit of wedding photography advice or the number one wedding photography tip that I can give you is to just do things your way it’s never been easier to research and find a style that works for you, so I would honestly recommend looking at Instagram and Google and Pinterest and just thinking what kind of wedding photography do I want as there is so many wedding photography styles ( check my blog on that here ) out there.

My first tip which is probably the biggest and the best one I can give you is just to give yourself enough time to do things on the wedding day no one likes to be rushed no one likes to feel that they’re constantly chasing time and almost be clock watching, and you definitely don’t want to be doing that on the biggest day of your life when you want to be spending it with family and friends enjoying yourself not constantly being pushed around from pillar to post because you have an insane agenda that you need to hit. To that end I recommend a ceremony time of around 1:00 that gives you plenty of time to get ready in the morning and plenty of time for the afternoon festivities that will lead into the night time celebrations.

The second bit of advice or the second wedding photography tip that I can give you which is pretty important in my opinion is what do you want out of your wedding photography what kind of style and feel do you want from it do you want something that’s editorial and modern and ultra glam or do you answering that’s more grounded rustic and natural. Whilst most photographers can quite happily shoot in both styles your wedding photography is going to look very disjointed if they try and mix up the styles on the wedding day. Check out this website to see a range of different photographer styles.

And my last bit of advice he’s took work with your photographer communicate with them as to what you want and challenge them to express themselves creatively give them the opportunity to try something new and exciting I personally love it when my clients give me a free reign to create interesting and innovative wedding photography.
