The Hundred House – Nic & Tim
Tim and Nic booked me at the national wedding show only four months before their big day at The Hundred House a venue I photograph out regularly as it’s nestled away in the Bridgnorth area specifically a spot called Norton. The Hundred House is fast becoming one of my favourite venues to work at ( check out my blog here ) as every wedding I photograph there is just so much fun and seeing as this was the first wedding of 2025 I wanted to make sure that this went off with a bang. Here`s a link to The Hundred House website in case you want to take a look. Working at The Hundred House with Nic & Tim was such a laugh and hopefully it shows in the photography!
And Nicola and Tim definitely brought the energy, they brought all the energy all the fun all the vibes and it was an absolute pleasure being a part of their wedding day. If every wedding I photograph in 2025 is going to be as much fun as this I am in for one hell of a year.
One of the things I most like about The Hundred House is that it’s quite intimate, it’s full of earthy rustic tones brown’s oranges and yellows and the fact that you only have a set amount of guests available to attend in the day open brackets I think it’s about 60-80 people in the day, and that means that the weddings are real intimate and authentic.
People that choose to get married at The Hundred House do so because they definitely want to spend time with their loved ones on the wedding day rather than just seeing hundreds of people in what must feel like a production line.
As The Hundred House wedding photographer I like to deliver imagery that is fun colourful and timeless and Nick and Tim gave me every opportunity to stretch my muscles and create this type of work for them. From big brush confetti moments through to using coloured smoke grenades everything was focused on the couple just being themselves and having fun.
I work so much better with couples that don’t take them to ourselves too seriously and focus mostly on allowing me to produce photography that is natural fun and intimate. I love being able to roll up my sleeves and get involved in a day photographing all of these natural moments of people hugging kissing crying laughing joking, and let’s not forget all the drinking in the party and as I do enjoy a party and The Hundred House is exceptional for its nighttime entertainment.
