Prestwold Hall

Prestwold hall is an amazing wedding venue in Leicestershire set in the rolling countryside close to the town of Loughborough. It’s an epic stately home with a lot of scope for incredible wedding photography and as a Leicester wedding photographer born and raised in this city I love shooting weddings at Prestwold hall. From its iconic indoor garden where you make an entrance to the ceremony to the soaring pillars at the front of the property which are perfect for that iconic confetti photo, group photos, or evening photography with some strong backlight to create dynamic portraits.

There’s a lot of scope at press world hall to create timeless wedding photography from the bridal suite which has got a lot of room and space for you to utilise to the epic 4 poster beds floor to ceiling mirrors and epic staircases, honestly I could create hundreds of wedding images even before the wedding ceremony.

One of the things I really like about Prestwold hall wedding is that you can hold the ceremony outside or inside depending upon your mood feel or weather. I particularly enjoy the ceremony’s inside in the drawing room as the couples usually entrance through the beautiful indoor garden entering through a small orange re there’s some epic backlight as they walk up the aisle towards their loved one, it’s definitely one of those moments that I think stands the test of time in wedding photography.

Obviously there’s extensive grounds at Prestwold hall as well as the secondary venue the hall bonds and a small Chapel should you wish to hold a religious ceremony. I’ve even shot a bride at Prestwold hall who brought her own horse along and decided in the late afternoon that she was going to ride him around the grounds. Incredible photography.

One of the things I’ve genuinely like about press world hall is its ability to create really amazing nighttime images at the front of the property using the epic columns. This can even take the shape of a sparkler tunnel or my favourite which is to do some backlighting with flash guns to create these epic silhouettes of a couple dancing hugging or moving.
