Pendrell Hall is fast becoming one of my favourite wedding venues to work at as it’s nestled in the Birmingham countryside – I just love visiting Pendrell Hall and seeing as I was born and raised in Leicester yet identify as a Birmingham wedding photographer it’s an easy thirty minutes down the road. I often find myself in Birmingham so Pendrell Hall is probably my favourite wedding venue in Birmingham, just don’t tell the rest.
One of the things that immediately strikes you about Pendrell Hall is the epic grounds that surround the venue itself which by extension gives us plenty of photo opportunities as we can have couples walking up and down the front, and in summer when the sun is shining we can actually get some amazing bridal portraits with the couple in the back gardens – I’ve even had couples in the cornfield playing around with smoke grenades.

Nestled just 10 mins away from the M6, its a magical venue in summer or winter!
As a documentary wedding photographer who specialises in creative portraiture Pendrell Hall has lots of opportunities for very intimate and interesting photography. For example there’s two spaces you can choose to get married in downstairs in the library which is perfect for more intimate ceremonies or in the garden in the pagoda which is perfect for larger ceremonies, and summer weddings.
In winter the drinks reception is usually held inside but in summer Pendrell really shines as we’re able to get outside and indulge in garden games and generally have fun in the back gardens and make use of the beautiful weather, which makes creating Pendrell Hall Wedding Photography really easy.
